A little bit about me. I was born with art and entrepreneurship in my blood. Although the past 30 years have been spent in Computers and IT, graphic and technical design have never been far from my surface.  I’ve started and owned several businesses, both in the art and design fields as well as computer and information technology fields. With my companies, I typically was doing what I had told could not be done. Things like running an entire Internet Service company based on Macintosh servers (in the early 90′s), when people were saying Macs couldn’t do internet. I’ve replaced car engines, I’ve torn motorcycles down and rebuilt them, I’ve built computers, programmed, painted, worked in a print shop, built pedi-cabs, created logos, airbrush tattooed and face-painted, taught various classes and one-on-one, and even driven limousines! I’ve always had the ability to just pick something up and do it.  Most of my work has revolved around technology of some form and creating things.

While my technology background extends more than 30 years, my creativity and art have always been there, either in the foreground or just under the visible surface. My art actually started first, with art lessons in both drawing and oil painting. During the past several years, I’ve been working more and more in various artistic fields, pursuing my passion for being creative.

I have the support of my loving wife, Robin, and our three daughters, Rachel, Nichole, and Laura. They are my inspiration. My sounding board. My greatest admirers.

My hope for this blog is to help other artists and entrepreneurs with how-to’s, bits of wisdom, advice and words of encouragement.
